It’s been a quiet week, but the weather is starting to demand our attention.
With a possible snow forecast for Friday night, Mary and I are planning to stay close to home—but the clubhouse will be open if you local folks want to keep things going.
Club News
The breakfast meeting last Saturday was a success by all accounts. We had around 20 folks from five sailing clubs, and the conversations were nonstop. People were there from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and stayed fully engaged.
We also gave a door prize—one of our new calendars—to the club with the most participants. Congratulations to Beaver Lake Sailing Club (Arkansas) for having five of their board members in attendance!
Volunteer Reminder
Only 10 days until the Tulsa Boat Show. I’m getting some volunteers lined up, but we can always use more—thank you for pitching in.
