- Commodore’s Breakfast — Saturday at 10:00am
A heads up to anyone planning to be at the Club this weekend and may be using the clubhouse kitchen: GLSC is hosting the inaugural “Commodore’s Breakfast” Saturday morning at 10:00am. We’ve invited board members from surrounding sailing clubs for a morning of sharing ideas, and we’re excited to have several clubs joining us.
Members are welcome to stop by and join us, and the clubhouse will still be open for use—just know there may be a larger-than-normal morning group. - Tulsa Boat, Sport & Travel Show — February 2–8
We’ll once again have a booth in the Grand Lake Association area, which means I’ll be looking for booth workers again. We typically schedule 4-hour shifts and try to have two members in the booth at all times.

Please welcome Aren and Katherine Johnstone, newly approved as Fleet members. They’re also members at Windy Crest Sail Club and have already been out sailing with some familiar faces. Our members are the best advertising we can have—thanks for being out there and connecting with sailors from other fleets!

- Equipment helps everyone
Thanks to the Vice Commodore for tackling a couple of carts with wheel/tire issues. A reminder: the carts (and other equipment) are there for general member use, and it really helps if any breakages or issues are reported when noticed. We’re not looking to blame anyone—we just want to keep things working and ready to go. Thanks in advance. - Slip use & permissions
Please make sure boats are in their assigned slips (or have permission/approval for temporary placement). If you have questions or notice something out of place, please contact the Commodore.
