Old Business
Brendan made the motion to approve another month of the Vic Rider Agreement, Clint 2nd, all approved.
Update on dock and funding — two estimates for dock work, two electrical estimates, waiting on engineering report. There is some concern regarding the availability of supplies for the repairs. $30,000 already spent on materials; deductible is $50,000. Brendan made a motion to spend an additional $30,000 for materials, Vic 2nd, all approved.
New Business
Discussed what should be required for new member applications — the board agreed that an in-person encounter should be made with one board member and a visit to the club, but currently this is not in the bylaws. Other options were also discussed. A motion to table this discussion was made by Brendan, Joel 2nd, all approved.
Fee increase — the last fee increase was in 2023. This would require a Fall Membership vote. There was no attrition with the previous increase.
New members — Kit made a motion to approve regular membership for Tracy Smith, David Mercer 2nd, all approved. Brendan made a motion to approve regular membership for Glen and Leslie Bianchi, Clint 2nd, all approved.
Brendan made a motion to purchase a cover for the Club Pontoon Boat, Clint 2nd, all approved.
Brendan made the motion to adjourn the meeting, Joel 2nd, all approved. Time adjourned: 11:30 AM.
Next meeting: May 9, 2026
Respectfully submitted
