What beautiful weather we’re having !!
I have been seeing more and more traffic in and around the club, several folks are back on boat repair and maintenance projects. We’re seeing more folks out to stay a few nights on theif boats as well. All the renewed activity is great to see.
The Spring Fling was a big night, there were a few little wiggles and adjustments to get used to but once those were adapted to a big time was well underway. We had 51 members in attendance including some very new members already getting in on the club events, great to see new (and existing) members out and about.
Long Distance Race A fleet award went to-1st place Jerry Hyatt, 2nd place Claude Phelps, 3rd Fred Overstreet.
B Fleet award went to C.J. Brummett.
The Fall Race Series awards were. A Fleet- 1st Todd Simmons/Mayo Selby, 2nd place Evan Arter and 3rd place Fred Overstreet.
B Fleet awards were 1st place Kurt Hagen, 2nd place was a tie between David Mercer and CJ Brummett.
Speaking of new members, we have added 6 new members this year already, there was a 7th approved at the Saturday board meeting and I have 3 more potentials with applications in hand, our club is growing….
Easter weekend is about upon us, if you’re out and about or have family in for the holiday bring them with you and come on out and join us.
