Easygoing, low-stress sailing for anyone who wants time on the water without the pressure of a formal race. GLSC Fun Flotillas set a simple course, then we all head out together, compare notes back at the dock, and call it a good day on Grand Lake.
How it works
- When: Every other Saturday – check the club calendar for dates and start window.
- Format: Informal “race” feel with a simple posted course. Any crew size, any pace.
- Vibe: Seamanship over silverware – great for practicing starts, trim, and boat handling, or giving new crew a turn at the helm.
Who it’s for
All GLSC sailors – new, returning, fleet members, and seasoned – who want friendly miles, light competition, and a reason to get out there on a Saturday.
