Wow! It has been a week, and we are just getting to the middle of it.
Friday Social will be at 6:00 p.m. There is a good chance we will have some prospective members joining us as guests, so come on out and help give them a warm GLSC welcome.

- Saturday at 5:00 p.m.: Annual Wine & Cheese Party
The first party of 2026 is here. The club will furnish a scrumptious selection of cheeses and hors d’oeuvres, and members are invited to bring a bottle of wine to share. Even for those of us who are not wine drinkers, this is always a great party and a fun way to get the club’s social season back in full swing. Come join the fun!
Club News
Last Friday’s storm brought some challenges to the club, but recovery efforts are already underway and the response from members and volunteers has been outstanding.
Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help restore order and keep things moving forward. It takes a village, and we have a very capable one. We are grateful for the teamwork, flexibility, and can-do spirit that continue to carry the club through.
As always, members are encouraged to stay in communication with club leadership regarding slip use and temporary needs as recovery work continues.
The show will go on. As sailors, we love the breeze, even if this was a reminder that too much of a good thing can sometimes be a lot. We will ease the sheets, put in a reef, and keep moving forward.
