Friday Social will be at 6:00 p.m. as normally planned. How about this beautiful weather? Hopefully the freeze is behind us.
Club News
Last week’s social was well attended, and the Wine & Cheese Party on Saturday was a great success. We had a terrific turnout, a wonderful spread of cheeses, meats, hors d’oeuvres, wines, and desserts, and plenty of good fellowship to go around.
A special thank you goes to Theresa Mercer, who led the event and knocked it out of the park, along with her devoted group of helpers.
Please also join me in welcoming new fleet members Chris and Susan Monsey. We are glad to have them aboard and look forward to seeing them around the club.
Upcoming Events
- April 11: Annual Spring Fling and Awards Party
This year’s event will be held at the new Wolf Creek Expo Center in Grove. It is a great new venue with easy parking, a ground-floor event space, and a view of the Wolf Creek Landing area. More details will be shared soon, and this will be an RSVP event. - Sea Scout Visit This Weekend
This weekend we will be hosting Sea Scouts from the Jacomo Sailing Club. They will be camping and sailing with club members over the weekend, and it should be a great time on the water. We are excited to welcome them and look forward to a fun visit.
Club Notes
Work continues as the club moves forward on storm recovery and dock repairs. Thank you to everyone who has helped respond, adapt, and keep things moving. The teamwork and thoughtful planning have been greatly appreciated.
Closing for now, but I hope to see a bunch of you out on Friday. Let’s go sailing!
