This is an RSVP-only event, so do not delay. The evening will include sailing awards for the Peanut Regattas, Long Distance Classic, and Fall Racing Series. - Saturday: First Peanut Regatta
We are headed full sail into the summer activity list this weekend with the first Peanut Regatta on Saturday. The captain’s meeting is at 10:00 a.m., with racing to follow.
A group of boats is also planning to do some practice starts after the regatta. Come on out, grab some peanuts, sail your boat, or join as crew to help out and learn. PHRF handicap helps level the playing field so everyone has a shot. See Events & Calendar for more club happenings.
Club News
We put the finishing touches on a great weekend last Sunday. It all started with Friday Social, and then the Sea Scouts from Jacomo Lake arrived for their sailing weekend.
The group enjoyed a full weekend of sailing, good food, and great fellowship. Sunday brought a beautiful breeze and perfect temperatures for one last sail before wrapping up the visit. A great time was had by all involved.
Special thanks to David Mercer and Victor Rider for spending time with these young sailors. We were glad to have the Scouts and their counselors with us for the weekend, and we hope to welcome them back again soon.
Club Notes
Dock repair work is continuing to move through the necessary steps, and we are thankful that boats are currently accessible while the process moves forward.
